The city currently facilitates trash collection for its citizens by contracting those services through Republic Services. All residential trash is collected once weekly on a regularly scheduled day. All commercial trash is collected at a minimum of once a week.

All residential billing inquiries and account information is handled through Carthage Water and Electric.

If you have questions about what day your trash will be picked up please contact the Public Works Department.

All bulky item pickups must be scheduled thru Republic Services at (417) 358-6999 or 1-800-627-1717.
